Housecall Pro is currently fully remote, although we are excited to introduce a hybrid work model in 2021 that will allow for a combination of both remote and in-office work. We are open to candidates in San Diego or Denver, or those planning to move there.

The role: Curriculum Developer

Housecall Pro has been helping home service providers across industries (plumbing, electrical, heating & cooling, and many more) successfully run and grow their businesses through our software product. We see how all types and sizes of service providers operate and as a result see the common pitfalls and opportunities to take these businesses to the next level. We are building an integrated program - including training, coaching, and workshops - to help our service providers successfully meet their goals.

As a Curriculum Developer at Housecall Pro, you will lead the effort to develop and implement our business building program. You will create educational training materials, develop the coaching program, and take responsibility for building the infrastructure within Housecall Pro to build a robust, lasting program. You'll have the opportunity to help lead and define the future of this core strategy for helping our customers succeed.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop a mastery of Housecall Pro’s product offerings, business model, services, emerging technologies, and best practices
  • Build training materials and course content that will take our customers through an integrated, step-by-step program to build a successful service provider business
  • Work closely with our Product and Design teams to build features within our core product that reinforce training program topics
  • Build the coaching program by nurturing relationships with industry experts
  • Develop and achieve success metrics for the program - both for our service providers and for Housecall Pro
  • Leverage knowledge of the home service industry to improve customer business processes with Housecall Pro and across the Pro’s entire organization.

Minimum qualifications

  • Training or technical documentation experience
  • A demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Knowledge of the home services industry and the ability to speak the language of service providers
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial by nature with strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently
  • Above all, a passion for teaching and helping our service providers be successful
  • A commitment to working at the highest standards of quality to ensure this program best represents Housecall Pro with our customers and in the industry
