The role: Director, Sales Enablement and Training

As the Director of Sales Enablement and Training you will be an expert and coach on the sales process used at Housecall Pro. You will teach sales technique and philosophy in order to help our team do their best work every day. You will architect the next generation of training strategy including people, platform and process to support our continued growth at scale. You will build a team of dedicated coaches to support your mission to consistently shift the performance curve and help our salespeople reach their full potential. You and your team will be responsible for onboarding new Sales Development Representatives, Enrollment Specialists and Growth Advisors and designing training materials and individualized development plans across a team of more than 100 salespeople (and growing).

You will work closely with sales management to create and monitor minimum acceptable standards of performance and will partner with team leads to identify and prioritize coaching opportunities. Your goals will be anchored around ramp-time for new hires as well as performance of each training cohort.

What you’ll be doing

  • Creating and building upon existing training and performance management systems to shift the average performance up and to the right
  • Hiring and managing a team of dedicated sales coaches to support your mission
  • Managing the onboarding and training process for new hires over a 60 day period
  • Identifying and prioritizing team-wide and individual training opportunities that provide the greatest ROI
  • Creation and maintenance of a data-driven measurement process highlighting progress on key deliverables and individual progression


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Have a strong background in sales, training, sales enablement, and project management in a high-growth environment
  • Previous experience building programs for training and coaching teams of 100+ salespeople
  • Experience hiring for training and coaching roles
  • Experience with evaluating and implementing learning management systems
  • Proven leadership skills
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy for our customer
  • Experience creating, analyzing and presenting chort-level performance data across fron-tline, management and executive stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
