The role: Innovation Intern
The Innovation and Growth team strives in not only coming up with ideas, but taking them directly from concept to implementation. This is the core of an innovation mindset that excites you every day - in our world, anything is possible as we help our Pros get to a better life. We re empathetic, hard working and focused on partnering with our service professionals. Our success is their success. Our team of entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and client-focused team members are the "human face" of Housecall Pro, helping our service professionals to operate and to grow their businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Work with our Pros to implement our technology to grow their business.
  • Keep track and take full ownership of every Pro relationship.
  • Design, implement and automate our Online Booking feature activation for your Pros.
  • Work closely within our small team to help our Pros innovate and grow their business.
  • Sell the importance of this kind of technology to new & current Pros.

Qualifications

  • Have built something from nothing and be able to prove it.
  • Excel/Google Sheets experience.
  • Understand that knowledge and network gained in an paid-internship is the real value.
  • Love the opportunity that working at a startup provides and eagerness to show off your hustle & skills.
  • 40hrs/week even if a current student.
  • Passion of working with blue collar customers and homeowners a like.

Preferred qualifications

  • Have started your own company, worked at a Home Service business or worked at a tech startup before.
  • Interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis, research, and trends.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and an ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail - nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Exceptional business partnering and communications skills.
  • Solutions and client service-oriented, willing to go the extra mile to support customer needs.
  • Basic HTML is a plus
